Thislightweight rug features a layer of ‘Stay-Dry’ fabric along the back, shoulders and quarters to wick away sweat and moisture from the horse’s coat.

The bottom half of the rug is made from a mesh that is designed to encourage airflow around the horse aiding its cooling and wicking properties.

Shoulder darts ensure a good fit and plenty of shoulder room, while a low friction outer finish helps to prevent bedding from sticking. An overlapping front provides comfort and prevents rubbing from straps and fasteners, so you can rest assured your horse will be warm and cozy whatever the occasion.

The Competition Cooler has two detachable and adjustable surcingles on the inside to keep the rug in place letting you choose how to use them. You can just use one straight across the horses’ girth area to keep in place while out at a competition or both of them for extra security when in the stable

A group of nine retailers were invited on a trip to Germany to visit the home of leading bit manufacturer, Sprenger, courtesy of Zebra Products Ltd.
The visit included a trip to the company's head office and factory, where the group got to see the full manufacture process – from design to production.
'We had a great trip to Sprenger,' said Kathryn Jacquet from RB Equestrian. 'Not only was it fascinating to see the vast amount of physical effort that goes into producing each bit, it was also interesting to have an insight into the research and development behind each Sprenger product.' Victoria Highfield, from Online for Equine echoed Kathryn's comments; 'Understanding the in-depth manufacturing process has helped us to understand why the products are so unique and has demonstrated why Sprenger are the market leaders. The trip has helped to improve our sales figures as our staff are far better informed when it comes to discussing the bits with customers.'
While Erica Leeson from Harley Equestrian added; 'A fascinating and informative visit to the Sprenger head office and factory, which leaves me in no doubt that Sprenger should be every riders' first choice.'

WHEN Emma Richardson’s miniature pony, Princess became ‘footy’ she was fortunate that her farrier was on hand to offer advice.
Based in South Derbyshire, amateur show jumper Emma, bought the attractive leopard spotted pony as a companion and now eight-years-old Princess has had an occasional bout of laminitis.
Explains Emma: “Princess is turned out with my two show jumpers and I have managed the issue by using a grazing muzzle and limiting her time in the field during the lush spring grass.

“I have a fantastic farrier, Jonathan Nunn who is highly regarded for his remedial work and who recommended using LaminAid from Cavalor which I could syringe into her mouth.
