Veredus & Sprenger Join Team Oliver Townend Eventing

Premium competition boots brand VEREDUS and top quality bit, stirrup and spur manufacturer SPRENGER have announced they are to sponsor top event rider Oliver Townend. The sponsorship has been arranged by the Uk distributor for both brands Zebra Products Ltd.

Oliver Townend accomplished a rare double, winning Badminton and Burghley the same year (2009) and has represented his country many times. He also has an interest in breeding and has an International Breeding centre called ‘Hartwell’ located on the Bolesworth Estate, Cheshire.

The Veredus collection offers technical competition boots, riding boots and chaps and horse-care products.

The Sprenger collection offers beautifully crafted and technically brilliant bits including the famous ‘KK Ultra’ bits used by many successful partnerships. They also manufacture the hugely popular Bow Balance range of stirrups – a favourite with many UK event riders.

The Sprenger novocontact Eggbutt Bit with D-shaped rings is ideal for super sensitive horses that do not take the contact confidently.
The oval shape of the mouthpiece enlarges the contact surface on the tongue for a soft influence.
The bit also allows direct pressure transmission on the tongue and lower jaw due to the fixed mouthpiece.
It lies steady in the horse’s mouth and is gentle on the corners while the lateral contact helps horses that tend to fall out whilst riding or approaching a jump.
The bit provides optimal utilisation of the limited space in the horse’s mouth.
